I began writing at an early age, and I remember writing books and stories as a child on recycled paper my parents brought home from the office.
Years later the stories I wrote took me into storytelling, when one night I attended the first Storytelling Friday and almost by accident got up to tell the story I had written at home that same afternoon. That was the start of it all.
A few years after starting to tell stories I was at the first Palavras Andarilhas in Beja with Xosé Ballesteros, the editor of Kalandraka, who invited me to send him a written version of the story I was telling.
Although that story was never published, I ended up publishing my first picture book at Kalandraka: A story to tell while you eat a fried egg. To date I have published 20 books, and some of them can be found in eight languages, including English.
You can see all my published books here (Spanish version).
Below are the books I have published in English.
Pep Bruno, Pablo Albo and Felix Albo (text), Mariona Cabassa (Illustrations), Natasha Kurth (translation), Matt Robinson (editing).
